Photovoltaic System: New 110 kW Order at CAR Srl
In recent months, energy costs have increased by an average of 23%, putting significant pressure on the competitiveness of manufacturing companies.
Energy-intensive industries, such as precision mechanics, are facing rising operating costs, directly impacting profitability and investment planning.
To tackle this challenge and reduce its dependence on the power grid, on January 30th, CAR Srl decided to invest in a 110 kW photovoltaic system on the industrial roof of its Busnago (MB) plant, combining technological innovation with energy efficiency.
CAR Srl specializes in high-precision industrial honing for the automotive, precision mechanics, and hydraulics sectors.
Honing is an advanced machining process that ensures high dimensional accuracy and surface finishing, often performed after any required aesthetic treatment.

Innovation and Sustainability: A Cutting-Edge Project
The installation of the system is part of the Transition 5.0 strategy, a funding program that supports companies investing in innovative machinery, digitalization, and energy efficiency.
In this context, CAR Srl is upgrading its machine fleet with advanced equipment and, at the same time, has chosen to integrate a photovoltaic system to enhance its energy efficiency.
According to the agreements, this project—set to launch on March 1st—is the first we are implementing with European EURENER modules, fully aligned with the “Transition 5.0” framework.
These modules offer:
- Module efficiency: 22.52%
- Cell efficiency: 24.60%
Compared to the minimum regulatory forecast parameters of:
- Module efficiency: 21.5%
- Cell efficiency: 23.5%
To further optimize energy yield, Huawei SUN2000-100 KTL inverters will be installed to support the system.
Inveco: from Design to Incentive Research
The opportunities provided by grant programs represent a strategic lever for companies looking to invest in technology and sustainability.
Inveco is not only involved in the design and implementation of plants but also offers a comprehensive consultancy service on incentives, guiding companies in identifying the most suitable funding opportunities and managing the entire bureaucratic process.
80% energy autonomy and payback in 4 years.
Thanks to this system, CAR Srl will achieve an energy self-sufficiency level of nearly 80%, significantly reducing costs and CO₂ emissions.
Furthermore, the installation will be completed within 30 days, and thanks to the export limit function, the company will be able to self-consume energy from the day of testing, without having to wait for the official connection with e-distribuzione.
Given current energy prices, the investment will have a payback time (PBT) of less than 4 years, confirming the effectiveness of this choice.
Anyone interested in developing an industrial project related to the installation of a photovoltaic system, with a comprehensive 360° approach, can reach out to us by sending an email specifying their specific requirements and indicating the unique industrial needs of their plant.
We will be happy to assist you by conducting site inspections and technical meetings aimed at preparing an initial feasibility study, completely free of charge.
