The activities and maintenance interventions continue at the Dayco Europe Srl plant in San Bernardo d’Ivrea (TO).
To date, many maintenance interventions have been carried out, in this news we report the most significant:
interventions on the north wall of the plant concerning the disposal of asbestos on the facades and the restoration of the same with custom-made sandwich tiles, in line with the architectural constraints of the MAAM of Ivrea (open-air museum of modern architecture);
Partial refurbishment of the industrial roof of the Ivrea1 production department at 50%, this is a very delicate intervention as the works and activities are carried out simultaneously and without stopping the underlying production activity. Up to now, many preventive measures have been implemented in the safety field. The industrial roof has been divided into 8 lots, 4 have been completed to date, the remaining surface will be redone by Q2 of the current year;
Refurbishment of the central and perimeter gutter channels with 8 / dec steel sheets, of the Ivrea2 production department, in addition to the complete replacement of the translucent elements in micro alveolar polycarbonate:
The new work plan is updated monthly by Inveco and Dayco managers and in synergy with production needs. This important maintenance project of the plant will allow Dayco Europe to operate in a work environment that is modernized from an architectural point of view and also energy efficient. The parties will shortly dissolve the technical reserves relating to the sizing of the photovoltaic system with a nominal power of approximately 1 mgWp, which will be built within the current year.
In a delicate historical period from all points of view, Dayco and Inveco look to the future by betting on the operational efficiency of the working environment.
