Rustichella d’Abruzzo S.p.A. has completed the third installation with a capacity of 350.15 kWp.

In the coming days, the commencement of operations at the third facility – Pianella plant – is expected.

In March, we announced the commencement of construction on the third facility for our client, Rustichella d’Abruzzo SpA (see history by clicking here). With immense satisfaction, we have achieved our target by installing the third system, with a capacity of 350.15 kWp, in just over 60 days.

To provide a brief recap of our history, our business relationship with Rustichella d’Abruzzo commenced in May 2022. The initial two contracts were signed for the Pianella plant, under which we completed the first 152 kWp photovoltaic system and simultaneously refurbished the roof of the new 4,500 square meter warehouse. In 2023, a third contract was signed, which involved the construction of a second photovoltaic system, not at Pianella but on the industrial roofs of the Moscufo plant. (you can read the history here) This 207 kWp system was completed last March.

“With the installation of the third photovoltaic system of 350.15 kWp, we successfully conclude a significant case of success for our company. Over two years, our team has been able to develop four major projects both in terms of business volume and the construction completed. The foundation of this business success, which pertains not only to INVECO but especially to our client Rustichella d’Abruzzo, has been the seriousness, sharing, and extensive transparency in our dealings. I believe these have been the cornerstone values that enabled our companies to achieve their goals.”

Rustichella D’Abruzzo has recently implemented a new facility, eligible for a capital grant under the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) as an “Agrisolar Park” (EU Announcement Agrisolar Park – Investment 2.2 of PNRR Mission 2 “Green revolution and ecological transition”; Component 1 “Circular economy and sustainable agriculture”). This installation boasts a total capacity of over 800 kWp, capable of generating 1,100,000 kWh annually.

A high-energy consuming company, Rustichella D’Abruzzo has chosen INVECO as a partner to invest in energy efficiency, achieving more than 60% self-sufficiency in energy consumption. Technically, all the facilities share a common thread—Huawei Inverters and Jinko Solar N-type photovoltaic modules—further validating our recommendation for the client to invest in top-quality, high-performance components. (Learn why we choose this type of module by clicking here.)

The completion of the third photovoltaic plant, with a capacity of 350.15 kWp, represents not only a milestone for Rustichella d’Abruzzo S.p.A. but also a concrete testament to the potential for collaboration and innovation between companies. This achievement, resulting from intensive work and a partnership based on trust and transparency, proves that investing in sustainable, high-quality technologies is a winning choice.

With a total installed capacity of over 800 kWp, Rustichella d’Abruzzo sets an exemplary standard in the industry, showing how energy efficiency can transform challenges into opportunities. Through the commitment and shared vision with INVECO, the company has not only improved its sustainability but has also made a significant contribution to the green revolution and ecological transition in our country.

This project is not the end, but rather the beginning of new possibilities and a future increasingly focused on renewable energy and technological innovation. The experience of Rustichella d’Abruzzo S.p.A. teaches us that with the right partnership and ongoing commitment, even the most complex challenges can be successfully addressed, bringing tangible benefits to the environment and the community.
