Anodall Extrusion S.p.A.: 3 MW plant completed and connected to the grid.
On September 23, 2024, the 3 MW plant of Anodall Extrusion SpA, located in Trevenzuolo (VR), was officially commissioned following the grid connection by E-Distribuzione SpA.

The statements of the key players in the photovoltaic project.
In this final update, we would like to highlight the words of the key players and creators behind this major project, which ranks among the largest installations on industrial rooftops in the Veneto Region.
Filippo Barbetti, CEO of Inveco Holding S.p.A.
“The first time I set foot in Anodall was on December 18, 2022. I had been contacted a few days earlier by Engineer Marco Pedrocchi, CEO of Anodall Extrusion S.p.A., who requested an introductory meeting. Given the significance of the potential client, and especially the importance of the interlocutor, I couldn’t turn down his request, despite it being just a few days before Christmas. I was immediately struck by Pedrocchi’s direct words; it was clear from the very first meeting that I had been approached by a major company and that I was dealing with serious and professional individuals.
During the six-month technical-commercial process, we made five revisions to the project, progressing from an initial power estimate of 1 MW to a final design of 3 MW. It was a very labor-intensive process, as our technical department worked almost exclusively on this project for several weeks. However, this is where we won over our client, demonstrating our expertise and addressing every single request that was brought to us, one by one.”

Andrea Girelli PROJECT MANAGER _ Inveco Holding S.p.A.
“At the beginning of 2023, we prepared the first feasibility study, which involved the construction of a 900 kWp plant. The project was then significantly expanded, and it also included the refurbishment of the 15,000 sqm roof of the main facility.
This additional improvement allowed us to increase the total plant capacity to 3 MW! A strategic decision, therefore, to enhance the installable power by choosing a flush-mounted installation type aligned with the new roof.
The focus then shifted to the absolute value of annual production (MWh), which translates into greater energy independence and security, a reduction in the product’s carbon footprint, ESG milestones for stakeholders, GO certificates, and so on.
This strategic and design approach is undoubtedly optimal for all energy-intensive companies with limited space for photovoltaic installations.”
Marco Pedrocchi CEO _ Anodall Extrusion S.p.A.
“Anodall is a highly energy-intensive company, and our primary need was to reduce energy costs. I found in INVECO the right partner who enabled us to carry out this ambitious project by fully utilizing the surfaces of our rooftops. As a result, we have managed to install a system capacity that will allow us, in the medium to long term, to achieve significant energy autonomy, as well as a substantial reduction in CO2 emissions.”

Connection to the E-Distribuzione network: the benefits for Anodall S.p.A.
The plant, completed and tested in recent months, had started operating under an export limit regime, allowing 100% of the energy generated to be used for self-consumption, without the possibility of selling the surplus to e-distribuzione S.p.A.
We present some significant data from the production recorded on September 3, 2024.

From September 23, 2024, Anodall will be able to transfer the unused self-produced energy to E-Distribuzione SpA, compensated according to the hourly prices set by GME.
The transfer of energy based on the hourly prices of GME (Gestore dei Mercati Energetici) means selling the electricity produced according to the price determined for each hour on the Italian electricity market.
This price fluctuates hourly depending on the supply and demand for energy, allowing producers like Anodall to sell at the most advantageous price for that specific time.
Therefore, the connection to E-Distribuzione offers Anodall S.p.A. an additional revenue opportunity from the installed photovoltaic system, which complements the significant monthly savings on its electricity bills.
Conclusions
With this facility, Anodall Extrusion S.p.A. sends a significant message to the industrial and manufacturing sectors, strongly believing in ESG (Environmental Social Governance) principles, in the real reduction of product carbon footprint, and in energy autonomy for a sustainable and efficient future.
