We are now almost at the end of this important industrial project which began in September 2019. Important interlinked works have been carried out, a programmatic intersection of industrial and engineering skills.
First of all, the remaking of the industrial roof of the main production department, an activity coordinated in close symbiosis with the customer, effectively eliminating production interruptions. The facades of the same department have been completely redone, in compliance with MAMM constraints (open-air museum of modern architecture in Ivrea). The peculiarity of this intervention was characterized by the asbestos disposal of the old facades and the refurbishment of the same, with insulated aluminum tiles. All the fixtures of the plant were also maintained, ie over 3,000 square meters of glass surface and solar films installed on the main office building. All this with the specific intent of reducing energy losses as much as possible.
Approximately 2,500 square meters of internal asphalts in the squares were redone and a new fence of over 100 meters with talia screen panels was built.
The photovoltaic system you see in the photos, which is nearing completion, will allow the customer Dayco Europe Srl to save about 820,000 kWh / annual average of electricity.
Finally, a new parking shelter will be built where electric charging columns will be installed for Full Electric and Hybrid Plug-in vehicles.
The investment supported by INVECO IMMOBILIARE Srl amounts to approximately 2,000,000 euros and will be concluded by January 2022. In the period indicated an average of 15 employees were employed per day, including companies, local craftsmen and electricians, obviously coordinated directly by our technical staff.
An intervention aimed at 360-degree energy efficiency of the entire industrial site, a targeted project strongly desired by both our Group and the customer.
