Photovoltaic: new order for a 450 kWp plant – Rustichella d’Abruzzo S.p.A.

In recent weeks, a new important order was acquired with the customer, RUSTICHELLA D’ABRUZZO SpA.

The new customer is an Abruzzo pasta factory, a brand of artisan pasta used by the best chefs in the world.

We were contacted at the beginning of the year to assist the client in the redevelopment of the new building recently acquired by Rustichella. The new plant, in expansion to the existing one, will become a 4.0 craftsmanship center. The required interventions concern the complete refurbishment of the roof, approximately 4,000 square meters of flat roof with skylights and related installations of two photovoltaic systems, for a total of 450 kWp.

According to the plans defined last week, the works will start in the first ten days of July with the installation of the first 150 kWp system and at the same time, the entire refurbishment of the roof will be carried out by 30 September. In 2023 the work will be completed with the installation of the second 300 kWp system.

The new roof will be equipped, in addition to the new skylights, with an innovative thermal insulation with 8 cm polystyrene fibers. They will significantly improve the energy performance of the facility.

The production of photovoltaic systems will be aimed entirely at self-consumption. We are talking about about 580,000 kWh / annual average. A considerable and real energy efficiency!

Our experience in industrial constructions has allowed us to advise the new customer on the best technical solutions at extremely competitive economic values. All this despite the period of high price inflation. INVECO, moving in advance with its suppliers, will be able to close 70% of the order by next September.

This result does not come from itself, but from the strong collaboration and constant dialogue with the customer in recent months, planning in total symbiosis the technical needs with the industrial production plans.
