Photovoltaic system: new order for 180,000 kWh plant for CAU s.n.c.

Having acquired a new order and a new customer, we are talking about the eugubina company CAU snc, Cereria Artigiana Umbra. The company is the third Italian producer of innovative ecological lights, outdoor torches, garden torches (so-called torches or Roman pans) and wind torches. It also produces scented candles and, above all, citronella candles and torches, for indoors and outdoors.

The agreement provides for the installation on the industrial roof of the Gubbio site of 309 440 watt Jinko Solar photovoltaic modules, for a system power of 136 kWp. The inverters chosen by the customer will be Huawei.

The plant capable of producing approximately 180,000 kWh on average per year will guarantee CAU considerable energy savings, equal to approximately 50% through direct self-consumption.

CAU’s important entrepreneurial choice, investing in a historical period where expensive energy is bringing many Italian production companies to their knees, with the awareness, however, of making its plant 50% autonomous.

According to the agreed programs, the installation of the system will start on September 5 and will end at the end of October of this year. During the construction phases no production interruptions will be foreseen and all the logistical interferences of the case will be limited to the maximum.
