Progress Update: 823 kW Photovoltaic System for TR Italy S.p.A.

The installation of an 823 kW photovoltaic system for TR Italy S.p.A., a leader in the production of screws and bolts, is progressing as scheduled.

The work is ongoing at the Fossato di Vico (PG) facility and follows an operational leasing model for the system, which allows for savings from the first year without any initial investment.

Progress Update

Work commenced in June with the renovation of the industrial roofing, replacing fiberglass skylights with 8/10 mm thick pre-painted metal sheets.

This modification enabled the installation of a photovoltaic system with a capacity that meets the client’s energy requirements.

In recent days, 125 kW Growatt max125KTL X-LV inverters have been installed. Currently, the assembly of Jinko Solar Tiger NEO 590 Watt panels is underway.

Work schedules are being fully adhered to, and the completion of the facility is expected by the end of September.

Technical Specifications of the Plant

Here’s the translation into professional English:

> Total power: 823 kW

> Modules: 1,395 Jinko Solar Tiger NEO 590 watt panels

> Inverters: 6 Growatt max125KTL X-LV, each 125 kW

> Strings: 78, with 17 or 18 modules per string

The facility will be capable of generating approximately 1,000,000 kWh of clean energy per year, significantly contributing to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions in the atmosphere.

Advantages of Operating Lease for Photovoltaic Systems

The project is based on the operational leasing model of a photovoltaic system, a solution that allows companies to install a system without facing the initial costs of investment.

Thanks to this approach, clients can immediately benefit from energy savings and pay only for the use of the system.

What is an operating lease?

Operating lease is a business model wherein the investor (e.g., Inveco Group) installs, manages, and retains ownership of the facility.

The customer benefits from an immediate reduction in energy costs on their bill, to which they will add a monthly fee payable to the facility owner.

At the end of the 12-year lease period, the customer has the option to purchase the facility or extend the lease for an additional three years.

The operating lease is a Win/Win business model as it requires no initial costs from the customer for the facility setup. Moreover, the total cost of the energy bill plus the monthly rental fee will always be lower than what they were previously paying in energy terms.

Vantaggi della locazione operativa per le aziende

> Immediate energy savings: Bill reduction from the first year.

> Zero initial investment: No capital outlay required by the customer.

> Sustainability: Access to renewable energy without installation costs.

> Purchase option: At the end of the lease, the system can be purchased.

Future Prospects and Plant Certification

Upon completion of this project, TR Italy S.p.A. will achieve a total installed capacity of 3,043 kW, generating approximately 3,500,000 kWh of clean energy annually.

Furthermore, we plan to certify all facilities under the GO (Guarantee of Origin) system, which officially verifies that the energy fed into the grid comes from renewable sources.

Objective: Sustainability and Consolidation of Energy Assets

The operational leasing model proves to be a win-win strategy for all parties involved, offering long-term economic and environmental benefits.

This project not only strengthens the company’s energy portfolio but also contributes to a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions.

Anyone interested in this project and/or similar projects that are based on the operational leasing of facilities with capacities over 500 kW, Inveco is ready to provide all possible information on this business model where the client, without the burden of investment, begins to save on energy costs from the first year.
