The growth of the Inveco Group through the construction of numerous photovoltaic systems
The numbers of our business unit plant by plant
In 2020, during the first lockdown of the COVID SARS19 pandemic, we imagined a radical change in our operations, stimulated by the critical period that the whole world was experiencing.
Our customers began to glimpse the need to achieve energy efficiency in the short term that would allow them to restart their production more efficiently in the months to come.
Thus was born our first “operational leasing of a photovoltaic system” operation with 384 kW of power installed on the roofs of the Umbertide (PG) plant of our client Modulo Srl.
That operation was the beginning of our strategic planning which is seeing us as protagonists in the renewable energy market and in the installation of industrial photovoltaic systems.
The values behind the numbers have been the real “keystone”, the creation of a young and motivated team mixed with digital commercial development has allowed us to grow significantly in the last three years.
Suffice it to say that the growth of the “Renewable Energy” Business Unit has achieved a sharp +181% in three years, a turnover which today represents 60% of consolidated operations for the entire Group.

The right mix of development between “contracts with third parties” and direct investments with the formula of the “operating plant lease”.
In 2021 we essentially focused on only two operations:
> A contract with third parties (Plados Telma 477 kW).
> A direct investment in one of our owned plants located in (Dayco Europe Srl 832 kW).
It was our real run-in, because in addition to planning the technical design and installation aspects from an operational point of view, we began to structure our supply chain and bring new, young resources into the company capable of structuring ourselves to face the challenges of the market.

The expensive energy has stimulated the growth of our Business Unit.
In the corporate and industrial world, every time a “risk” arises, derived even more from exogenous factors, a real “opportunity” emerges and the skill lies precisely in this, in transforming “risks” into “opportunities”.
When in June 2021 the cost of the P.U.N. of energy began to rise, making a 100% rebound in a few months, from €0.08 to €0.16, we were good at reading this trend and above all at transmitting it to the outside world, developing a real commercial policy aimed at intercepting new potential customers, that is, energy-intensive companies that were starting to have strong financial imbalances due to high energy costs.

The new digital business strategy started working in 2022.
Taking advantage of the company’s visibility on social profiles and renewing the website, recounting our ten-year experience in the renewable energy market (photovoltaic + wind), mixed with more than 20 years of industrial projects as General Contractor, was decisive.
On the one hand there were energy-hungry customers who were able to invest to try to reduce energy costs, on the other there was a company like INVECO which was massively visible on a digital level, a rapid technology that was not too expensive and efficient like the photovoltaic. The perfect storm was born.
In 2022 alone we found ourselves managing over 100 system requests and developed almost 50 commercial offers. Eight of these became contracts.

However, the real year of growth is the current year, 2023 now coming to an end, represents the real business challenge.
If on the one hand the price of energy has calmed down significantly in 2023 and on the other interest rates have started to grow, slowing down the process of instrumental investments in factories for many companies, our growth has consolidated with important numbers and volumes .
The real business challenge, however, was the direct hiring of qualified operators who today allow us to build the systems quickly and manage the technical installation process “in house” with significant economies of scope and above all direct management that goes meeting customer needs.

Anyone interested in developing an industrial project that does not only concern the installation of photovoltaics, but which can be seen and extended at 360°: from the energy efficiency of the building envelope to specialized technical energy management consultancy, to the renovation of the roof and the related disposal of asbestos cement, the construction of the general plant systems including the systems dedicated to the production processes, you can write to us by sending an email with the specific needs, indicating the individual industrial need of your company’s plant.
We will be happy to assist you by carrying out inspections and technical meetings aimed at drawing up an initial feasibility study completely free of charge.
Our technical team is always operational to meet the needs of future and new customers.
